我們在salt lake city 待了兩天

由於這是一個挺大的城市，我們在網上標到一晚50塊的三星旅館Hilton

第四天為待在Moab的最後一日，行程為參觀Canyonlands National Park

由於本日還需花五小時趕路到下一個城市

一早起來簡單吃了點早餐，繼續行程

約於早間八點半，我們到達公園最北部的Devils Garden，開始為時四小時的hiking

第二天用了六個小時從Albuquerque開到Moab,Utah

選擇停在這站的原因是這城市附近有兩個評價頗高的國家公園

由於在新工作位於Portland, Oregon

博與我離開生活五年的Austin，踏上這趟橫跨美國的佂程

I received two offers from Micron and Intel. The choice of job and salary negotiation has been the number one source of uneasiness in these two weeks. The base salaries are roughly the same, considering the location and living expense. However, the nature of these two jobs is completely different.

The Intel job has very heavy responsibility and gives me plenty of room to grow. I am sure I can learn a lot by staying in this group. More importantly, the leader of this group is a Taiwanese with excellent skills and experience in this field. Working with him can bring out the best of my ability. The down side is that the job itself is extremely stressful and this situation will not improve in years.

It’s my fourth year staying in my research group. Our group is primarily focused on organic materials and applications. Basically, there are three categories of research going on: first, thin-film transistor and circuit applications; second, thin-film transistor and sensor applications; third, solar cells.

I was in the tail of mass graduation as I joined the research group, seven students graduated in one year. As a result, the group size shrank from 13 to 6 in one year. In those six remaining students, I am the only international student.
